Teach Yourself Teeline Shorthand is a learning plan which accompanies the textbook Teeline Gold Standard for Journalists.

By working through the learning plan with the accompanying textbook and audio materials, you will be able to:

• demonstrate an understanding and knowledge of the Teeline theory;
• read and accurately transcribe your own shorthand notes;
• apply your knowledge of the Teeline theory to a pre-determined speed
(60-100 wpm);
• work towards achieving a pass in an NCTJ shorthand examination (60-120 wpm).
