Alumni testimonial:

"When I signed up for the NCTJ fast track Diploma in Journalism at Sutton College, I did not really know what to expect. I wanted to learn what pitfalls I needed to avoid when writing for newspapers and magazines.

"The NCTJ course gave me so much more. I now have the confidence to write whatever is thrown at me, under any conditions, and deadlines don’t daunt me! I know where to research information, I know how to avoid litigation, I understand social media, I can find stories in realms of data and can create high quality videos. The best thing of all is I can read back my shorthand!

"I also have to pay tribute to the NCTJ for making the impossible possible and putting on online examinations at short notice, which enabled us to accomplish our goals that we worked so hard to achieve.

"It was an intense six months, but as the first cohort of students for Sutton College, we were given incredible support by our dedicated, conscientious, patient, and outstanding teachers. A big thank you to them!"

- Davina Hyde, 2020 graduate
