The Oxford University Press media law award is presented to the student with the best performance in essential the media law exam during the academic year. Students must achieve 80 per cent or more in the media law paper. The prize consists of a cheque for £250 and a certificate. 

The JPIMedia media law: court reporting award is presented to the student with the best performance in the media law: court reporting exam during the academic year. Students must achieve 80 per cent or more in the court reporting paper. The prize consists of a cheque for £250 and a certificate. 

The Facebook editing skills for journalists award is presented to the student producing the best performance in the editing skills for journalists exam during the academic year. The prize consists of a cheque for £250 and a certificate. 

The Oxford University Press public affairs award is presented to the student with the best performance in the essential public affairs exam during the academic year. Students must achieve 80 per cent or more in the public affairs paper. The prize consists of a cheque for £250 and a certificate. 

The Archant award for essential journalism is presented to the student with the best performance in the essential journalism exam during the academic year. The prize consists of a cheque for £250 and a certificate. 

The Society of Editors shorthand award is presented to the student who submitted the best shorthand note and transcription which was marked as 100 per cent accurate at a speed of 100wpm. The prize consists of a cheque for £250 and a certificate. 

The Sky Sports News shorthand award is presented to the student who submits the best shorthand note and transcription which was marked as 100 per cent accurate at a speed of 110 or 120wpm. The prize consists of a cheque for £250 and a certificate. 

The Premier League sports journalism award is presented to the student with the best performance in the sports journalism exam during the academic year. The prize consists of a cheque for £250 and a certificate.

The winner will also be invited to visit IMG Studios, which is the home of Premier League Productions.

The Archant videojournalism award is presented to the student with the best performance in the videojournalism for online exam during the academic year. The winner receives a certificate and cheque for £250.

The Reach plc journalism for a digital audience award is presented to the student with the best performance in the journalism for a digital audience exam during the academic year. The winner receives a certificate and cheque for £250.
