NCTJ launches new short course programme

The NCTJ has launched a revised programme of short courses based at its in-house training facility in Essex.

The NCTJ has launched a revised programme of short courses based at its in-house training facility in Essex. The courses are designed to teach journalistic transferable skills to help boost business communications. Course mediums include print, video, audio and the web.

Some of the courses on offer include: Writing for the web; Journalism skills for PR; News and feature writing; Grammar and proof-reading skills; Interviewing skills; The essentials of sub-editing; and The essentials of media law.

The NCTJ has been delivering gold standard training to journalists for the last 60 years and the same standard is applied to its short courses. Each trainer is an experienced journalist who is handpicked for each course’s particular requirements and will deliver the specific skills delegates want.
