Thirty candidates shortlisted in second JDF round of 2019

Thirty aspiring journalists have been shortlisted in the second Journalism Diversity Fund application round of 2019.

Four panels of senior industry figures will interview the shortlisted candidates at Bloomberg in London on Thursday, 25 July and Friday, 26 July.

Bursaries are awarded to those who have a passion for journalism, financial need and can demonstrate how they will bring diversity to the newsroom.

Bursaries can help cover the costs of NCTJ course fees and/or travel and living expenses while studying.

The third application round of 2019 is now open, with a deadline of Wednesday, 7 August.
