Thirty applicants shortlisted in second JDF round of 2020

Thirty aspiring journalists have been shortlisted in the second of four Journalism Diversity Fund application rounds in 2020, which marks the 15th anniversary of the fund.

Six panels of senior industry figures will interview the shortlisted candidates remotely on Thursday, 16 and Friday, 17 July.

Bursaries are awarded to those who have a passion for journalism, financial need and can demonstrate how they will bring diversity to the newsroom.

Bursaries can help cover the costs of NCTJ course fees and/or travel and living expenses while studying.

Applications in the third round are now open until Wednesday, 29 July here.
