There are now just two weeks to go until the National Council for the Training of Journalists’ Data Journalism Seminar on 25 May 2012, at Bloomberg in London.

The one-day seminar will cover topics including sourcing data, analysing and visualising data and utilising data from FOI requests. There will also be the opportunity for journalism tutors to discuss the teaching of data journalism skills and share best practice. 

Speakers on the day include Simon Rogers, editor of the Guardian Data Blog and Datastore; Paul Addison, managing editor, training, Bloomberg News; investigative journalist Caelainn Barr; and the Royal Statistical Society Get Stats team

There will also be information provided about opportunities for students with the Bloomberg internship and trainee scheme.
