The full shortlists for the NCTJ Awards for Excellence have been announced.
More than 150 entries were received for the awards which aim to highlight the achievements of individuals with promising journalism careers ahead of them. The awards are open to students on NCTJ-accredited courses and trainees/photographers with less than two years in journalism.
The list of nominations includes 12 students on NCTJ accredited courses and 11 trainee reporters working towards the National Qualification in Journalism (NQJ).
The winners will be announced following a gala dinner at The Print Room in Bournemouth as part of the NCTJ Journalism Skills Conference on 27 November.
