Sheffield College confirms the current status of NCTJ-accredited photography course

The NCTJ has sought clarification from Sheffield College about the future of its press photography course.

The NCTJ has sought clarification from Sheffield College about the future of its press photography course. The college has said that the 26-week press photography and photojournalism course will run from November 2010 if there is sufficient demand to make it financially viable. However, the fees have been increased to approximately £3,600.

A unique and highly-regarded course that has dominated the market for professional press photography training for many years, it is the only course for press photographers and photojournalists accredited by the NCTJ. The NCTJ will continue to monitor the situation.
