Nineteen applicants shortlisted in fourth and final JDF round of 2020

Nineteen aspiring journalists have been shortlisted in the fourth and final Journalism Diversity Fund round of 2020, which marks the 15th anniversary of the fund.

Four panels of industry figures will interview the shortlisted candidates remotely on Friday, 4 December.

Bursaries are awarded to those who have a passion for journalism, financial need and can demonstrate how they will bring diversity to a newsroom.

Bursaries can help cover the costs of NCTJ course fees and/or travel and living expenses while studying.
