Journalism students studying on the NCTJ-accredited course at Harlow College have launched its first online newspaper to showcase the talent at the centre.

The Harlow Harrier news website is designed to deliver news, sport and entertainment from the local area. The site was the idea of Talal Musa, a News of the World trainee and NCTJ student, who assembled an editorial team that worked tirelessly to get the site ready for launch.

Georgie Campbell, Harlow Harrier editor said: “The site looks absolutely amazing. The team have worked so hard behind the scenes and it’s great to get it up and running for everyone to see.”

“It’s a fantastic way for us to deliver one of the aims of the college to be involved in the Harlow Community.”
