NCTJ invites employers to Apprenticeship Forum

In partnership with Lambeth College, the event is being held at the college’s Clapham campus on Monday 20 May 2013 to give employers the opportunity to find out how the apprenticeship scheme works and what commitment is required when recruiting an apprentice.
The new Advanced Level Apprenticeship in Journalism has been developed by the NCTJ and is designed around the core journalism skills of the Diploma in Journalism.
Lambeth College has been working with the NCTJ and local employers to establish a pilot scheme, which the BBC, the London Evening Standard and The Independent have already signed up to. Launching this September, the college wants to recruit up to 15 apprentices on the course, which delivers the training in partnership with employers.
If you are an employer interested in joining this scheme or setting up in partnership with another local NCTJ training provider and you wish to attend, please complete the booking form and return to Shevon Houston by Thursday 16 May.
