NCTJ graduate crowned Young Journalist of the Year at the Regional Press Awards

NCTJ graduate Richard Wheatsone is celebrating after being crowned Young Journalist of the Year at the Regional Press Awards last Friday, 17 May.

NCTJ graduate Richard Wheatsone is celebrating after being crowned Young Journalist of the Year at the Regional Press Awards last Friday, 17 May.

Richard is a north and east reporter for the Manchester Evening News, and completed his NCTJ preliminary training at Cardiff University.

Bill Gardner of The Argus was Highly Commended in the Young Journalist Category. Bill studied at City College Brighton and Hove and is currently studying for his National Qualification in Journalism (NQJ).
