Following two inspection visits in January the NCTJ achieved and surpassed a key benchmark for people development and best management practice.

Investors in People Silver status was awarded to the charity after staff demonstrated the organisation not only met the Investors in People standard but also met further benchmarks to earn silver status.

Only two per cent of Investors in People organisations have achieved silver status.

Joanne Butcher, NCTJ chief executive, said: “All of us here at the NCTJ are pleased to have achieved Investors in People Silver accreditation.

“We see our silver status as a vital tool to help us in our continuous development, taking our services and products to even higher levels of delivery and service.”
