Journalism Diversity Fund announces cohort one shortlist

Nine applicants have been invited for interview for the first cohort of 2014-15 Journalism Diversity Fund bursaries

Nine applicants have been invited for interview for the first cohort of Journalism Diversity Fund bursaries and will be questioned by a panel of four interviewers on Friday, 25 April.
The candidates will be asked questions about their passion for journalism, financial need and the diversity they would bring to a newsroom.

Successful candidates will be awarded a bursary to cover the cost of their journalism training. A contribution towards travel and living expenses may also be awarded depending on financial need.

If you are interested in applying to the Journalism Diversity Fund, applications are now being accepted for cohort two.

The deadline for cohort two application forms – which can be found under ‘Can I Apply?’ – is Wednesday, 14 May at 5pm.
