Editorial decision making in the digital age

Is media convergence changing the way news is selected and written? Brunel University is appealing for journalists and editors to spare a couple of minutes to answer their survey here.

It is hoped that initial findings will be circulated at the NCTJ Journalism Skills Conference in December. Brunel’s Sarah Niblock, who is also a member of the NCTJ’s Quality and Standards Committee, said: “This quick study will offer an invaluable snapshot of how our dynamic field is evolving, and will inform the way we prepare students for the workplace.”
