Work for the multi-platform giant, Sky Sports News on the Graduate Programme or through work experience.

Sky Sports News are looking for creative and enthusiastic journalists.
Applications for the Graduate Programme 2015/16 close Monday, 10 October 2014. The 11 month placement will include working with experienced production teams as well as providing content for the website and mobile devices.

It will be fast-paced and you should be armed with story ideas. They are looking for people in their final year of an undergraduate or postgraduate NCTJ-accredited journalism qualification, with at least 100 words per minute shorthand and a passion for sport.

Work experience opportunities are also available. Applications open Monday, 27 October 2014 for placements from February 2015 onward.

Placements last no longer than 3 weeks. Successful applicants are responsible for making their own travel and accommodation arrangements. However, at the end of your work experience you can claim £15 a day towards your food and travel expenses.

Sky offer a limited number of bursary placements to candidates from economically disadvantaged backgrounds that would normally be unable to take up a placement for financial reasons.
