Applications for the November exam sitting are now closed.

For exams taking place in December and January, the application form will be available until 5pm on Friday, 29 October 2021.

Please note that all exams in November/December/January will be held remotely. In order to sit a Cirrus exam remotely, you must have access to the following on your computer: a webcam, a microphone and a secure/stable internet connection.

Section C - To be completed by candidates being placed by the NCTJ at a national exam centre

Examination Centres

Candidates will be allocated to an exam centre by the NCTJ. We will endeavor to assign candidates to a centre in their vicinity, however this cannot be guaranteed and candidates should be prepared to travel to sit exams.

Section D - To be completed by Editor / Training Officer if exams are to be sat in office

The production journalism and video journalism exams can only be sat in office if suitable software and technical support is available

If you will not be sitting an exam in office please ignore this section and complete section C.

Please note the above named individual will be sent the examination papers and be responsible for ensuring the exams are invigilated and NCTJ procedures are followed correctly.
