The Northern Echo, Newsquest’s flagship daily title, is looking for a top-class trainee reporter to join the Great Daily of the North.

Key Responsibilities
Based at our headquarters in Darlington, you will be covering vibrant patches in the North East and North Yorkshire, where you will use your passion for digital storytelling to unearth amazing stories.
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
We are looking for an outstanding trainee (with NCTJ prelims, including shorthand) looking to cut their teeth on one of the biggest regional news brands in the UK. A full driving licence and access to a car are essential.
