Your role:

News UK are looking for a multi-skilled Social Media Producer to work with big talent across Talk’s live shows. Whether you’re live-tweeting through Julia Hartley-Brewer’s strong opinions, making Mike Graham’s debates take off on YouTube, or simply just breaking the news, this is a great opportunity for those who thrive in a role that’s fast-paced and varied.

Day to day you will:

You’ll mainly be publishing content on YouTube and social media platforms, working closely with colleagues and producers to identify news lines, drive engagement and get everyone talking about and watching our shows online. However, there will be occasional times where we require support with our sister brands, talkSPORT, Virgin Radio and Times Radio.

What we are looking for from you: 

  • Experience running social media/YouTube channels/websites
  • Excellent spelling and grammar
  • Passion for increasing online engagement and followers
  • A keen interest in news and current affairs
  • Confidence using video editing tools and web/social media analytics
  • Flexibility regarding working hours – while the role is mainly Mon-Fri, hours may vary to allow us to cover different shows, with the occasional weekend to provide cover
