Day to day you will:

  • Create highly engaging graphics for our social channels, based on the sporting news cycle, to encourage conversation and debate
  • Post and schedule talkSPORT.com stories and graphics across multiple social platforms
  • Write sharp, engaging social headlines and captions that help drive views, engagement and conversation
  • Create and crop visuals using Photoshop, Canva, or similar tools to support our editorial content production
  • React quickly to breaking news, trending topics, and live sports moments with timely, platform-optimised posts
  • Monitor real-time traffic and social engagement data to inform what’s working
  • Work collaboratively with the wider editorial and video teams to ensure consistency across all platforms

Essential Requirements

  • Strong Photoshop skills and/or general graphic design skills
  • In-depth knowledge and passion for football, particularly Premier League football
  • Experience creating and scheduling content across various social channels
  • An understanding of what content performs well across specific platforms, such as Facebook, Instagram and TikTok
  • Excellent spelling, grammar and attention to detail
  • Ability to work accurately and efficiently under pressure
  • Friendly and approachable character who’s happy to receive guidance
  • Willingness to work evenings and weekends around key sporting events
  • Able to commute into our London Bridge offices at least three times a week

Desirable Additions

  • Interest and knowledge of other sports like Boxing, Darts, NFL and Golf
  • Prior experience working across sports-specific social accounts
  • Basic video editing and/or publishing experience across YouTube and short-form platforms
  • Creative thinker who can blend data-driven insights with unique ideas
  • A fan of talkSPORT who regularly engages with our content
