Reporter – Newsquest (Gloucestershire/Wiltshire)
We are looking for a new reporter to join our Gloucestershire newsroom.
Reporting for the Wilts & Gloucestershire Standard, you will primarily be covering the town of Cirencester and its surrounding villages.
Cirencester, a thriving market town in the beautiful Cotswold district, is a popular tourist attraction.
The role requires someone who is willing to get out and about as much as possible, is able to make good contacts and who wants to establish themselves at the heart of the community.

We believe in being out and about in the community as much as possible and our reporters attend news events throughout the day, reporting for our website, social media feeds and print pages.
The successful candidate will be able to deliver Facebook Lives, be comfortable creating videos and photographs and also be able to file clean, accurate engaging copy.
We will consider trainee reporters looking for their first newsroom role but would also welcome senior journalists.
As always, our reporting roles involve weekend work and early and late shifts on a rota basis. Please note candidates must have a driving licence and access to a car.
