Reporter – Greenock
Key Responsibilities
- Generate fresh ideas and maximise digital storytelling opportunities.
- Understand what readers want and deliver content that meets those needs.
- Be a digital native, with storytelling at the heart of everything you produce.
- Build strong relationships with key contacts to enhance coverage.
- Use analytics tools to drive success and engagement.
- Work independently and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- A journalism degree and NCTJ qualifications, including 100wpm shorthand.
- Ideally, experience working on a busy news publication – but highly motivated trainees are welcome to apply.
- A can-do attitude and excellent time management skills.
- A driving licence and access to a car (desirable).
