The Super Sun Racing team is the best in the business, creating industry-leading content every day online and in print. We’re proud to break stories, provide up-to-the-minute news and produce the number one supplement, The Favourite, every Saturday and during all the big racing Festivals.
Your role:
Sub Editor for our print that will help drive new fans to the sport and enlighten seasoned followers. You will be a passionate, knowledgeable sub-editor eager to work within the racing team, also helping to design racing content and pullouts.
Main Role:
- Help design, sub edit, plan and write daily Favourite pullout
- This is across editorial content and daily cards on Indesign
- Write and edit for online team when required
- Chance to source own stories – go racing, visit yards and talk with trainers, jockeys and owners, job is what you make it
What we are looking for from you:
- Keen interest in horse racing
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work to tight deadlines
- Good writing skills
- Ability to use In-Design a plus
- Enthusiastic, sharp and bright
- Office based, 1 day a week WHF
- Weekend and evening work required
