About us

Clear Sky Publishing is a local media business with Devon at its heart. We want people to feel good about the place that they live and work, and to be able to have a positive impact on their everyday lives. We employ professional writers to be the voice of the community. About the role

As a multimedia journalist you will source at least seven pieces of original content per day that is unique to your geography. You’ll also supplement this with 20 pieces of written content per day including press releases, public notice, results or court announcements. It’s a great opportunity to hone your skills and deliver on your passion for writing, and as part of the role you’ll:

  • Understand the principles of AI and Chat GPT et al and how they can make the process of content gathering more extensive
  • Develop skills and knowledge in growing audiences from all sources and in the way content is delivered
  • Gain an understanding and appreciation of all relevant libel, privacy and data protection legislation that will impact your role.
