Live Reporter – Scotland

The Scotsman, Scotland’s renowned national newsbrand, is seeking to recruit live reporters as we further expand our digital operation.

Ideally NCTJ qualified or equivalent, you will be ready to take the next step in your career in a fast-paced, innovative newsroom.

A strong news sense, first class knowledge of digital publishing, and the ability to write to an exceptionally high standard is a given. You will also be energetic, full of ideas, and able to work as a team player while meeting individual goals. As a multi-media journalist you should be comfortable producing content across platforms, including video.

Reporting to the live editor, you should be able to demonstrate a proven track record of driving audience, be keen to learn, and be able to work flexibly across shifts, including weekends.
