Journalist – Stornaway Gazette

JOURNALIST REQUIRED

The Stornoway Gazette intends to appoint a journalist to join a small team, based on the Isle of Lewis and Isle of Harris and Western Isles, dedicated to producing a quality local newspaper serving the Western Isles.

In addition to writing for the paper and enhancing its social media presence, the potential will exist to contribute to national titles within the National World group.

The successful applicant will have some journalistic experience or qualifications, the ability to produce well-written copy, good IT skills and an interest in island issues. Literacy in Gaelic will be an advantage.
