Journalism training scheme DailyMail.com (New York)

Applications are invited for the DailyMail.com journalism training scheme  in the New York office. We can only consider applicants with an American passport or who have a right to work there.

It which will begin in Spring 2024. Our trainees embark on a year-long programme that involves intense training, assessment and on-the-job experience at our New York office. DailyMail.com is part of UK-based MailOnline – the world’s largest English-language newspaper website reaching over 225 million unique monthly visitors globally, with 75 million coming from the United States.
We are looking for young journalists with broad interests who want to cover national and international news at a fast pace for a global audience. The successful applicants will probably have a degree and will have shown a commitment to journalism by writing for their student newspaper/website and gained work experience in newsrooms.
The course starts with an intensive in-house training month. After that the trainees will join the newsroom and work alongside experienced editors producing daily stories. Trainees will be given a two-year contract and paid a competitive salary while they train.
