About the role

• Responsible for translating customer needs and business strategies into action in a specialist news area. Represents Editorial to internal and external customers, and meets directly with clients to to understand and deliver on their needs.
• Gives overall direction to news coverage and ensures the file meets customer needs and performance standards. Has a comprehensive set of standards and measures to assess performance.

 

About you

• Drives multi-media and cross-asset story telling through collaboration with news specialists from other parts of the file.
• Helps drive innovation, generates ideas of doing things smarter, and is willing to take calculated risks to improve news coverage.
• Works with cluster and bureau chiefs to ensure Editorial delivers on budget goals.
