Editorial Lead, Agents of Tech London | Hybrid, Mon–Wed in office | 6 months, extendable | £40–55k

Agents of Tech is a fortnightly show about AI, filmed in London and Washington. Past guests include Jimmy Wales, Nobel laureates, and leading AI researchers. The audience is the people running things — ministers, CEOs, regulators, investors.

We’re going weekly. The editorial lead picks the topic for each episode, books the guest, and writes the brief the hosts use on the day. A lot of the job is cold outreach to people whose assistants screen everything, and a lot of reading to work out what’s actually worth asking them once you’ve got them.

You need a journalism background and the editorial judgement to tell when a topic sounds interesting but won’t land. You’ll run several episodes in parallel across time zones without much hand-holding.

Useful: contacts in AI, tech, or policy; broadcast experience; a real interest in what AI is doing to institutions.
