Do you want to be part of a team creating innovative video features, explainers and special reports for the world’s largest international multimedia news provider? Reuters is looking for digital producers with excellent video editing skills and experience creating video content for online and social platforms. You will be working closely with our global team of text and visuals newsgathering.
About the Role
As a Digital Producer, you will:
- Edit and deliver video content as directed by the team leader
- Write and occasionally voice scripts
- Have a keen eye for visual storytelling
- Help develop story and content ideas to suit digital platforms
- Ensure your work is accurate, timely and impartial
- Be part of the global packaged video production team
About You
To be our next Digital Producer, you will likely have:
- Experience of working in a digital newsroom or video production unit
- Strong video editing skills, preferably Adobe Premiere
- A good working knowledge of After Effects and motion graphics
- A passion for telling news and personal stories
- A clear understanding of the different styles of digital and social platforms
- Excellent written and spoken English
- The ability to remain calm and focused under pressure
- A track record of being a team player
