Key Responsibilities
You will also lead the content mix for the two printed daily newspapers.

The ideal candidates would already be working on a news desk or be experienced senior reporters looking for the next step up.
- Be able to inspire a team
- Drive our news agenda
- Deputise for other editors when they are off
- Thrive working under pressure – including reacting to breaking news
- Know exactly what makes a story
- Be creative and full of ideas
- Write articles when needed
- Create the right mix of content, for the right time of day and platform – online and in print
- Be able to process and edit copy for both print and online
- Place copy on pages for the newspapers
