Courts and Crime Correspondent

Building on our already successful reader revenue strategy, The Yorkshire Post requires a courts and crime specialist. The successful candidate will be a senior journalist, qualified with at least 100wpm shorthand.

We want you to produce exclusive content, including true crime video packages utilising, amongst other resources, our extensive archive. Much of your work will be premium, subscriber only material and, using your own newsletter, you will give subscribers exclusive insight into your day-to-day.

You will be experienced in working an extensive contacts book, and know how to generate and nurture relationships with individuals who can enrich your storytelling.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone to spend their days creating compelling, high quality journalism that has a meaningful impact on the lives of those living in Yorkshire.
