Diversity in journalism report launch 2023

The launch of the NCTJ’s Diversity in Journalism report 2023 is taking place on Thursday, 25 May at Google UK, London.

Editors, trainers and industry professionals will come together to scrutinise a new report examining diversity in journalism.

The event will address a range of topics of the report, which examines the characteristics of journalists in the UK, and hear from a panel of industry representatives on core issues such as gender balance, representation of ethnic minority groups, and social mobility.

It will also bring together bursary recipients, mentors, sponsors and supporters to celebrate the work of the Journalism Diversity Fund, which has helped more than 400 people from diverse backgrounds begin their journalism careers.
