We're delighted to provide our partners with the opportunity to learn about the latest skills and techniques relating to data journalism and journalism for a digital audience.
The programme will cover some of the specialist content in the NCTJ’s new diploma assessments: journalism for a digital audience; and data journalism. This includes social media, analytics, brand development and audience engagement.
The seminar will also include a session on embedding data and digital skills into journalism training and will introduce the programmes of study for the new digital and data modules in the NCTJ diploma.
This event is designed for heads of journalism, course leaders and trainers at NCTJ-accredited journalism courses. Delegates from the journalism industry are also welcome to join the seminar for continuing professional development, particularly those who are managing or mentoring the community reporters in the Facebook-funded Community News Project.
