Shorthand seminar

The shorthand seminar is designed to bring shorthand tutors up-to-date with key issues and developments in shorthand training and qualifications. As well as learning from the experts, there will be an opportunity to share ideas, seek advice, and raise any concerns about the NCTJ’s shorthand programme of study and examinations with other tutors, members of the examinations board and staff.

Fee: £110 plus vat per delegate. This price includes refreshments and lunch.

The Facebook Journalism Project Seminar

The NCTJ and Facebook are pleased to announce that a free seminar will be held in London as part of the Facebook Journalism Project. This seminar is an opportunity for newsroom leaders, journalism trainers, social media editors, community managers and journalists to learn more about Facebook and Instagram as platforms for news.

The aim of the day’s sessions is to share best practice insights on discovery, distribution and growth, communicate recent product updates, and answer your questions and listen and discuss feedback in real time.
