The NCTJ offers distance learning courses, which are perfect for those unable to study at an NCTJ-accredited, centre-based course. They are designed for UK-based learners, but overseas students are also welcome to complete the courses.
Both qualifications are level 3, however the Certificate in Foundation Journalism provides an introduction to journalism whereas the Diploma in Journalism is an entry-level qualification and equips learners with the knowledge and skills that journalists need to succeed on the job.
