Our people make Sky a truly exciting and inclusive place to work – a place where you can be yourself and let your skills shine.

We believe in better. And we make it happen.

Better content. Better products. And better careers.

If you’re over 18 years old and looking to launch a career in news journalism, then the Sky News work placement programme offers a fantastic opportunity to break into the industry.

Whether you’re a school-leaver, graduate or looking to change careers, you will be passionate about finding and telling stories that matter to our audience.

What you’ll do:

The placement will give you the chance to get your foot in the door, work alongside talented colleagues in a busy multimedia news organisation, and help you to build your confidence, skills and experience.

To apply, please tell us in no more than 200 words why you want to work in news and one story you would love to cover.

*Upload a CV and your 200-word cover letter

Placements are up to two weeks long and we’ll be running the programme throughout the year. If successful we can find a date that works for you. During the placement you will receive a small daily allowance to cover the cost of London public transport and a meal in a Sky restaurant. We may also consider requests for further financial support from those outside London.
