Social media producer, casual shifts – TalkTV (London)

News UK are looking for a multi-skilled Social Media Producer to work across TalkTV’s output.

You’ll be publishing content on digital platforms such as Twitter, YouTube, Facebook and TikTok working closely with the video and TV teams to drive engagement and get everyone talking about our shows online.

Whether you’re live-tweeting Prime Minister’s Questions or planning a social media strategy for Julia Hartley Brewer with our creatives, this is a great opportunity for those who thrive in a role that’s fast-paced and varied.

What we are looking for from you: 

  • Experience running social media/YouTube channels/websites, preferably for TV programmes
  • Flawless spelling and grammar
  • Passion for increasing online engagement and followers
  • A keen interest in news and current affairs
  • Confidence using video editing tools and web/social media analytics and the Adobe suite.
  • Flexibility working hours including evenings and weekends

TalkTV: The latest innovation from News UK, TalkTV launched on 25 April 2022 creating a major new channel, available to everyone across the UK and delivering a bold new voice in current affairs, debate and opinion. Piers Morgan, one of the most recognisable broadcasters in the world, is the first signing for TalkTV, delivering Piers Morgan Uncensored, a primetime show which promises to be a fearless forum for lively debate and agenda-setting interviews.
