Launch your photojournalism career with Reuters!

Reuters is looking for two apprentices in London for those with an interest in photography and journalism. This will be an opportunity to learn the craft of photojournalism at the world’s largest international multimedia news agency.

About the Role

The Reuters Photojournalism Apprenticeship is aimed at school leavers and budding photojournalists who are looking for an alternative to university degree courses. This apprenticeship will develop your creative skills across a variety of visual disciplines. Working with some of the UK’s leading photographers you will be equipped with the tools you need to learn photojournalism skills in a fast-paced newsroom.

The apprenticeship includes a Level 5 NCTJ diploma as well as on the job support and guidance in building your photography portfolio. You’ll also receive training from the PA Media Academy.

We welcome passionate, tenacious, and curious budding photojournalists who are interested in telling stories for a global audience. Reuters seeks diverse candidates from all backgrounds and is excited and motivated to work with emerging talent who can cover breaking news and tell in-depth stories from new perspectives. You do not have to have a vast amount of industry experience to apply for the apprenticeship.

We are looking for two apprentices to work with our Pictures department in our London newsroom. The focus will be on photojournalism but there will be opportunities to work with Text and Video departments as part of the training.
