Reporters (multiple) – KM Media Group (Kent)

The KM Media Group is looking for new talent to join its award-winning reporting team.

If you are a trainee, newly qualified or have years of experience under your belt, we would love to hear from you.

As part of Iliffe Media Group – the UK’s fastest-growing independent publisher – we produce four of the country’s best-selling weekly newspapers.

But we also have our eyes firmly set on expanding our digital growth through KentOnline, where your stories can reach an audience of 3.5 million unique browsers every month.

As well as online and print journalism, we are the ONLY publisher to be able to offer reporters experience in both TV and radio, if they want to develop those skills.

We also work closely with Google and Facebook to equip our journalists with the tools they need to enhance their multimedia talents.

Applicants must be confident, motivated, and bursting with story ideas to keep our growing audiences engaged.

If that sounds like you, we currently have vacancies across our offices in Kent.

We recognise the benefits of flexible working arrangements, but are also committed to retaining offices so people can get to know their colleagues, share ideas and learn from senior staff.

Trainees and newly-qualified reporters will have hopefully completed an NCTJ-accredited course.

Seniors will need to demonstrate recent experience with another newspaper or online news title.

All candidates will be required to hold a clean full driving licence.

If you feel you meet the range of skills required and have the personality to match, apply via our online application process at kentonline.co.uk/jobs

The closing date is Friday 5 August 2022, though vacancies may be filled should suitable candidates be found in advance of this date.
