Rhotic Media is a business content agency serving clients in financial media and financial services. We are building out our multi-award winning content delivery team.

At Rhotic, quality and service are the key ingredients to our business. We are looking for journalists with a great skill and personality to support our clients.

The work is hugely varied. One week you might be writing news for a financial publisher, the next you might be covering a conference in Edinburgh or writing up a webinar transcript into a feature. You’ll be tackling a mix of editorial and corporate writing briefs.

Our business has several revenue lines – content strategy, content production and content training. We also produce our own magazine, Financial Promoter.

You will be based in one of our offices (London or Essex) two days each week, but you are welcome to work from home for the rest of the week. We provide laptops and mobile phones to assist with remote working.

Our pension scheme is with the National Employment Savings Trust and staff are eligible for the pension scheme from their first day. All of our team are covered by the confidential Rhotic Media Employee Assistance Scheme. This service, run by an external provider, offers free access to professionals in the legal, medical, financial and well-being sectors, should they require any help with their life outside of work.


For this role, we are seeking a journalist or writer with a good knowledge of how to structure a news story, a feature and a blog.

If you’ve got experience writing commercial features or thought leadership reports, that is a big plus, but we’re keen to hear from anyone who thinks this role might be for them.
