Private Providers' Forum - Wednesday, 4 July 2012
Forums have been designed to give those delivering NCTJ-accredited courses an opportunity to discuss the distinctive challenges of delivering externally-assessed vocational skills training
Aims and objectives
Delegates will be encouraged to share ideas and issues about delivering NCTJ-accredited training as part of their journalism courses; how to ensure a greater take-up for the NCTJ’s professional exams; and how to increase the number of students gaining A -C grades in all the core assessments plus 100wpm shorthand. Other topics include funding, interviewing and testing students for courses, the diploma, quality assurance and standards, and the accreditation scheme.
Who should attend?
Each forum will focus solely on matters of concern to heads of journalism or course leaders. While delegates are expected to make their own travel arrangements, there is no fee for attending the forum. Places are limited to one representative per accredited course.
Bookings
To book your place, please complete and return the booking form to Shevon Houston at the NCTJ. There is no fee for attending the forum. Directions and other details will be sent to you a week prior to the event.
