In conversation with David Dinsmore: a student perspective (part two)

On Tuesday 4 November, NCTJ students were given the opportunity to attend a London Press Club event featuring an interview with David Dinsmore.

Brunel University student Angela Shine shares her thoughts on breakfast with the editor of The Sun.

Angela Shine is a Londoner, she has lived in the capital all her life and loves its stories. Angela ShineA mature MA Journalism student at Brunel University with a background in national press, she sold advertising for the Daily Telegraph and Daily Mirror writing entertainment editorials for The Mirror’s features. An ex-English and ICT teacher, she moved into radio and produced and read the news on a global rock show. She also interviewed Ilford football manager Martin Haywood on the terraces after a 2-0 loss at home to Romania, which went out on Time FM. She has also worked on special features on a glossy ‘Hello’ style magazine for Brazilian/Portuguese speakers and covered the Regent Street Light ‘switch on’ plus the Jaguar Sports Awards; where she interviewed Team GB on the red carpet.
